Scotty is in good hands... with Brenda, who keeps an eye on him when Mommy and Daddy are taking a break.

Spending Thanksgiving day in front of the TV

Like all men, Scotty spent Thanksgiving day eating and watching the football games on TV.

"We got some sleep" Yea....

We discovered how to get some sleep. The problem has been that when Scotty sleeps near Mommy, he can't sleep because he smells her maternal fragrance (leche!)

8:00 pm: Big Scott goes to sleep listening to NPR while little Scott gets fed

9:00 pm: Little Scott joins Big Scott in the master bed room (separate cribs)

3:30 am: Little Scott wakes big Scott up and cries for milk. Mommy feeds little Scott

4:30 am: Little Scott goes back to sleep and sleeps until 7:30 am. 

5:00 am: Mommy goes back to sleep

7:30 am: Little Scott wakes Daddy up again yelling for milk. Little Scott gets drop off with Mom so Big Scott can sleep some more.. and more.

9:00 am: Big Scott finally wakes up

So, our new schedule might be working. The new schedule enables Mommy to get a lot of sleep (and of course me too) -- Mommy gets to get some solid hours of sleep before the early am feeding.

 

The other big news -- We adjust Scotty's carriage so he can sit up while being escorted town.

Finally, we are interviewing Nannies today to help out with Scotty starting in January 2010.

Naming a baby...

This is similar to what we went through when naming Scotty (a name Lucy and Ricky also considered)

FYI. The video is a bit long  (1.5 minutes), but it does have a little latin flavor and of course, they ended up naming their son after dad.

Getting Schooled

News flash: 

Scotty is going to school (The J.C.H.S.) today for the first time. He will be attending Spanish 1 and maybe stopping by the Admissions office to get make sure he gets a spot for the class of 2027. 

Forget Joe the plumber

I always considered my wife like McGyver, a TV character in the 1980s who employs his resourcefulness and his knowledge of chemistry, physics,^[2] technology, and outdoorsmanship to resolve what are often life-or-death crises. He creates inventions from simple items to solve these problems. 

And today, she did it again -- fixing our toilets and sinks. And rumor has it, she is going to scale the walls soon and focus on fixing the light bulbs.

Who needs Joe the plumber when they have a 'McGyver' for a wife.
