Daddy took me to my first playground today. But he wouldn't let me run around and tumble with the kids. Instead, I watched them for a distance -- those crazy boys and girls, running around in circles. Several times I raised my hand and said 'wait for me!' But they kept running.
Daddy said it was a bit too cold outside for me let me loose and run around the park. He also said I just don't have the legs yet for it. That I don't have good balance. Hopefully I will show them soon who is the fastest in the playground. In the meantime, I have asked my cousin, Hilary, to fly out to California, and join me this Saturday in the Presidio, so she can do my running (and some of my screaming) for me.
I just hope we don't catch any diseases (or the flu) in the park. My Aunt Virginia might be sick so now she has to walk around with a mask. Check out the photo below with 'Abuela'
