"The Size 10 Sneakers"

It seems that Mrs. Abbott-Wilder woke up the other day and discovered a large pair of New Balance sneakers at the front door. (We have a no-shoe policy in our house so everyone must take off their shoes before walking around)

First she asked if they were mine, but I told her that never wear New Balance because they hurt my arches.

Therefore, she sent out a few emails and contacted a few people, like the Night Nanny, to see if any of them owned the sneakers. (Note: They seemed to be size 10 woman's).

That day, no one claimed the sneakers, so we thought maybe someone snuck into our house, did something bad. (who knows what) and left their sneakers behind.

We were so worried that we locked our bedroom door that night -- especially cause we have to protect little Scotty.

The next day, we ran into Noboku, who cleans our house, and asked her about the sneakers.

And sure enough, they were hers. Well, kind of.

Here's her story about the sneakers. She went to clean someone else's house and when she took offer her shoes, someone accidentally walked off with her sneakers, so she took the first pair she found. It didn't matter that they were 4-5 sizes too big.

And then she wore her new found Sneakers to our house the next day.

Unfortunately, this doesn't explain why the New Balance sneakers remained in our house after she left, nor does it tell us what pair of sneakers she wore home when she finished cleaning our house.

So, there's still some mystery around the size 10 sneakers.

Just a typical day

Moving up in the world. Scotty had lunch today @ the chic Spruce Street restaurant. Well, he was there, watching his parents inhale some sandwiches and a big chocolate cookie. 

He also had another woman visit him today. Pavlina visited him. Not sure how he does it, but he is already attracting all the woman. Pavilina gave him some cool 'boat' pictures, a boat mobile for his 'crib' and some other goodies......

Tomorrow is my first night away from him.....

 I am already confusing S. S. Wilder. He just got a copy of one of my favorite books "Curious George: Goes to an Ice Cream Shop!' (It was a gift from Rashmi)

I am reading the book to him every other day or so, but am worried that I might be confusing him cause he is (we think) lactose intolerant
