Yesterday was a big day for Scotty (aka S. S. Wilder).
He turned 10 weeks and to celebrate we did a little trick a treating and also participated in his Baptism. The morning started with a dress rehersal in his 'Got Milk?' uniform:
I think some family members were concerned I would bring him to the church in that outfit. But the baptism went well. It was a nice ceremony recognizing all religions and thus making all the grandparents happy.
Mother Nature loved meeting her new grandson for the first time:
And Abuela and Abuelo (who also is known as 'the chauffeur' cause he shows Scotty the neighborhood while speaking Russian) enjoyed Scotty too:
It was a special day for everyone......(I need to add a picture of all Scotty's great aunts who came here from Puerto Rico for the big day)
Oh yea -- the little guy is beginning to talk. In fact, he and I engaged in our first real discussion where I would say one word and then he would respond. The only problem was I could not decipher is goos and his gaas.
Anyway, at the end of the day..... Scotty was exhausted.... (so was big Scotty)
