Battered Sausage

Fresno County authorities have arrested a man they say broke into the home
of two farmworkers, rubbed one with spices and whacked the other with a
sausage before fleeing. Fresno County sheriff's Lt. Ian Burrimond says the suspect, 22-year-old Antonio Vasquez of Fresno, was found hiding in a nearby field wearing only a T-shirt, boxer shorts and socks.The victims told deputies they awoke Saturday morning to the stranger applying spices to one of them and striking the other with an 8-inch sausage. Burrimond said money allegedly stolen in the burglary was recovered. The sausage was tossed away by the fleeing suspect and eaten by a dog.

It's been a long wait----

Baby Bears

Spoke to one of my trusted advisors this am.

Told them I have had some aches and pains recently, which are probably related to 'all the stuff'' going on in my life. And they asked me if I was taking my 'Baby Bears.'

Baby Bears? I soon learned that is another name for Baby Asprin. It is amazing how many of my friends do pop a few J&J Baby Asprin every day.

Seems like 'Babies' are on my mind....

Although, I prefer a Snoopy to any Bear on the block

Well, actually it is music to Elizabeth's belly. Little Miss Wilder (Milder, for short), received two CDs from Aunt TeTe.

  This kid is going to have better taste in music than her dad....

Beep Beep

One of the biggest surprises for me so far is that we can not leave the hospital with our baby without a car seat.

Seriously, I thought that we could just keep Snoops on our lap when we drove home.

After all, you see babies sit on mom's and dad's laps on airplanes without a seat belt. Fortunately, one of our friends, Helena, gave us a car seat today. .. an infant car seat. (I didn't know that there is a difference between infant car seat and baby car seat).

... and someday, we know will have to buy her a car too.

Snoops received lots of great holiday gifts.

But the first one received was from his friends down South in Glendale

They gave him a Mickey Mouse spandex pillow.. which will remain with me until the little guy/gal arrives
