Today, we are celebrating 11 months together. Hard to believe that it has been only 11 months, especially after all the stuff we have been through.
The good news is that we are standing strong and tall, and happy and optimistic next to each other, just like the two ones in number 11.
Last night's Olympic Mens 200 Free Style Relay race reminded me of an important message:
"Never give up"

First the World Cup and now this...
Carlos Sastre of Spain won cycling's Tour de France for the first time today as the three-week race ended on the Champs-Elysees in Paris.
Time to get to work.
Elizabeth purchased a new vacuum cleaner.. and lambs wool duster (whatever that is???)..... and guess who is responsible for cleaning the carpets and hard wood floors.. and the windows.
... Yes, she got a special window washer. Guess how I am spending my weekend.?
Now I have to figure out how to put the thing together....
All is not Quiet on the Western Wilder Front.
Last night, marked the one year anniversary date after I asked Mr. and Mrs. Abbott for their daughter's hand. 4/8 last year fell on an Easter Sunday, .. when I put on my best Brooks Brothers' shirt and drove across the Golden Gate bridge to the Abbott's house for dinner.
Eventually I got up the guts to ask Elizabeth's sister to leave the dining room, so I could have a Future Father In-Law to Son-In-Law talk (of course Mrs. Abbott was there). We ended up having a nice a two hour conversation.
Would love to share the details of that talk, but will save for another time : ). Just know that I promised Mrs. Abbott that her daughter would still visit her once a week. Little did I know that I would be living 'next door'
Yes.. today, we are moving into our new home. As I mentioned earlier, a new beginning. 
So there are a bunch of guys wearing little medical booties...and putting black plastic on our new white carpet.. so they don't leave any tread marks....
So in between meetings, blogs, more meetings, and work related presentations, I will be helping the Abbott ladies out. (The Dynamic Duo).
They are taking charge and making sure the moving men don't bump into any walls..

Elizabeth and I pulled up anchor from the seas of Sausalito and sailed to San Francisco.
Next week, we plan to launch a new stage in our life -- and move into a new home.
Fortunately, we took care of all the logistics earlier in the month.
And we also had some help from Mr. and Mrs. Abbott, who helped us pick out paint colors, carpet colors, and other colors.. lots of colors!.
We are grateful that they are there (and here : ) to help out while we are trying to get back on our feet after Natalie's passing away.
Moving is never an easy thing. Especially if one of your goals is to simplify your life.
Besides coordinating with movers, real estate folks, etc., And cleaning up our house. Here's what we did:
So now we have a nice new house to start over with so we can start decorating and acquiring stuff : )
As stated above, we are looking forward to starting a new stage of our life. We will miss not having Natalie physically with us. It is difficult to move into a new place where we had made plans for a baby room, for special baby locks so she wouldn't open kitchen cabinets, for baby gates so she wouldn't fall down the stairs, .. and for special kid software on my computer.: )
There is a new trend and a book called 'Raising Your Baby Green.' See an ABC TV Clip about this movement. Protecting your baby from environmental risks, starts when the baby is in the womb. Diapers is the biggest challenge in protecting the environment. My friend Elizabeth (yes, another Elizabeth), who is expecting her first child in 30 days, introduced me to a new type of Green diaper, called The Gdiaper.
The G-Diaper has been called the 'ultimate diaper' because is washable, flushable, chlorine free, compost-able (is that word?) (they break down in 50-150 days).
I like gdiapers tag line -- "It is all in the flushing'
On their website, there are lots of videos.. even one that shows 'a wet one' or a 'poopy one' flushing down the toilet. Below lists how you flush it down the toilet.
As a kid, I dreamed of being a 'G-Man (FBI agent).' Well, I guess I will have to settle for the next big thing and be a G-Diaper Man.
