We went into the Eglise Saint-Louis-en-l'Ie and stopped in an area of the church where there was a statue of St Mary and near it was one of St. Anne, the patron saint of pregnant women, little children and grandmothers.
We lit to candles for Natalie and Woodstock and then planted them on the candle holder among others. Needless to say, our kids' candles were tallest in the class. (What can I say, I am a proud dad)
So as you may recall from my last post, Virgin America Airways lost my luggage. So this am before I was about to do a presentation in front of 50 people, I decided to call the Vegas Hilton Hotel room service and ask them to send up some shaving equipment.
After all, there was note in the bathroom that said they would provide me with any toilet articles I needed. Well.. after waiting for 15 minutes.... two hotel maids came to my door with a woman's razor. They said that was all they had and that they didn't have any shaving cream. Needless to say, it was a very very 'close shave'
Why do I bring this up ---?
Well, I told Virgin Airlines 'LAV' for Las Vegas, but they thought I said 'LAX' for Los Angeles. So now, I am in Vegas with no bags. Guess I need to buy some new clothes
The Mrs. and I are part of a new and emerging trend. More and more people are getting rid of their telephone landlines.
Otherwise known as fixed telephone lines. Young folks are driving this trend, but the Mrs. and I are definitely following this new trend. We each have our own cell phone and use SKYPE as our backup.
And I just look at it as one less thing on my desk. Less clutter. And no more multiple phone bills.

Don't worry, that's not me in the drawing. SO, last night I couldn't sleep cause I was worried about electro-acupuncture. So, I started 'Googling' and 'Wikipedia-ing' the term. Turns out it is a fairly common procedure, but it is used more for fighting addictions, depression and stress. Only a few people are experimenting with arthritis, etc. So, I feel like I am a guinea pig. By the way, check out the box the doctor uses to send the shock waves through my body. It's an Acutron Mentor!
I did some retail therapy today and bought myself a little present!
I purchased a 1 Terab
yte hard drive. Now I can back up all our 5 computers! I feel like its Christmas here in San Francisco!

It has been a long week. I had to drive down highway 101 five days in a row. Fortunately, I found the secret to getting all my work done: Cloning
My birthday was coffee day.
My wife served me ice coffee (my favorite) in bed -- but she served the coffee in a new coffee travel thermos that keeps coffee hot for 3 hours or cold (with ice) for six hours.
And her mom gave me a stainless steel coffee maker (along with her Puerto Rican coffee).
No more Starbucks for me! Just think, I will save over $900 in coffee bills during the next twelve months!
